"See Y'all Again" is a song by American state music artist Carrie Underwood. It was written by Underwood, Hillary Lindsey, and David Hodges. It was released as the quaternary and final single from Underwood's quaternary studio album, Diddled Abroad, on April fifteen, 2013. Underwood appear the single on her official Twitter business relationship.[one]
Underwood debuted the song on the 12th flavour of American Idol on April 4, 2013.[2] "See You Over again" is Underwood's eighteenth consecutive Top 10 single on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and is also her seventeenth single to exist certified at least Gold past the RIAA. As of Dec 2013, the single has sold 740,000 copies in the Usa.[three] On August 10, 2015, "See You Once more" was officially certified every bit Platinum.[4]

"See You Once again" tells the story of moving onwards after experiencing the death of a loved ane in life. The lyrics provide hope and promise through Underwood's belief that one will reunite with every fallen loved one in the afterlife. The song's opening consists of a solo piano, followed by a backing chorus and band kicking in shortly after.
"See You Again" was originally ane of three songs written for the 2010 feature film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Of the 3 songs that Underwood, Hodges, and Lindsey co-wrote for the film, the workers behind the project opted to choose "In that location's a Place For Us." Underwood pushed to include "Run across You Again" on her fourth studio anthology, Blown Away, during the writing process of the album.

The song has received positive reviews from music critics. Billboard.com described the song to be "truly a sense of taste of sky."[2] Kevin John Coyne of Land Universe included the vocal in his personal favorite tracks from the Blown Away studio album in the website's 2012 year-end countdown of editors' favorite Land albums of the yr,[6] as did Matt Bjorke of Roughstock for their album countdown.[seven] Liv Carter of Urban Country News gave the vocal a "thumbs upwardly", calculation "what pulls information technology over the line nonetheless, and presumably why it has become a fan-favorite, is its sincerity in wishing to bring comfort and Underwood'southward confident operation."[8] Jonathan Keefe of Slant Mag was less favorable, proverb that "the chorus of power ballad "Run into You Over again" is marred by dated, campy arena-stone clichés."[9]

The vocal debuted at No. 60 on the United states of america Land Airplay nautical chart for the week of Apr 13, 2013,[10] and peaked at No. 2 for the nautical chart dated September vii, 2013.[xi] It entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 90 for the chart dated May 18, 2013,[12] and peaked at No. 34 for the chart of August 31, 2013.[13] It also peaked at No.vii on the Hot Land Songs nautical chart on August 24, 2013. As of December 2013, the single has sold 740,000 copies in the United States.[three]
On August 10, 2015 "See You Again" was officially certified as Platinum.[4]

Underwood performed the vocal in May 2018 during an episode of American Idol in which she mentored the summit 5 contestants.[14] The song was included in the setlist for the Cry Pretty Tour.[15]

On June 7, 2013, Good Morning America gave a outset look for the music video for "See Y'all Again". The total video premiered shortly afterward on ABCNews.com.[17] The music video was directed by Eric Welch.[18] It showed the aftermaths of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, the September xi attacks and the 2013 Moore, Oklahoma, tornado, forth with diverse reunions.
